Eco Schools
As an ECO School we are very keen to ensure that our children care for our environment and become responsible citizens.
Every year one child from each class is nominated onto our Eco team by their peers. Being an Eco ambassador is a brilliant opportunity for our pupils to learn about how to be more environmentally friendly. It provides children with the opportunities to share their feelings and influence decisions that are made. They share heir own views as well as the views of their peers when they attend Eco meetings.
What do our Eco ambassadors do?
Our Eco ambassadors help us to care for our school environment. They take part in discussions and votes and feedback any relevant information to their class members. They meet regularly with Mrs Hughes to discuss their ideas.

What do we talk about?
Green Flag Award
We have recently achieved an Eco schools Green Flag with merit. During the Year our Eco ambassadors completed an environmental review and an action plan. They worked together to plan and deliver an assembly on water and provided tips on how to save water. Children throughout the school have taken part in lessons and activities relating to environmental issues and learnt how to look after our world.
