Our Catholic Life: Living out Gospel values
CAFOD
We use the resources from CAFOD to support Global learning in our school.
Live Simply encourages us to live simply and sustainably with creation and in solidarity with those in poverty. We are working hard to achieve the Live Simply Award …. Watch this space!!!
Saints and their Feast Day
Each Year Group celebrates their own Saint, thinking about their core values and how we can aspire to be more like them.
Fratelli Tutti means you should love your brothers and sisters regardless of where they live in the world.
Laudato Si focuses on care for the natural environment and all people. It focuses on the relationship with God, humans and the earth.
Live Simply
Our school was awarded the LiveSimply Award in 2023. We successfully demonstrated that we are living simply, sustainably and in solidarity with the world’s poorest communities. We will be continuing with the award this academic year.
Food Bank
At school we run a weekly Food Bank to support families in our community. If you wish to access this support please let a member of the Admin Team know.
Our Church and Parish
We have very strong links with our Parish Church family led by Father Stephen who has been a regular visitor to school. We support the Parish Catechists in the Sacramental Programme for the Year 4 children who receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion. We encourage the groups from church to visit school when they can.
The children visit church at celebration points in the Liturgical year and are welcomed most warmly.
