Saints Timeline

Each Year Group celebrates their own Saint thinking about their core values and how we can aspire to be more like them.

Fratelli Tutti means you should love your brothers and sisters regardless of where they live in the world.

Laudato Si focuses on care for the natural environment and all people. It focuses on the relationship with God, humans and the earth.

The Big Lent Walk

On Friday 24th February, we will launched our 'Big Lent Walk' with CAFOD. Our aim was to walk 200km in 40 days to help fight global poverty. The children completed laps of our school field each week during lent in order to reach our target.

We successfully reached our target. We raised a total of £214.32

Thank you for your support!

 Blessing of our school Chapel

In 2020, Father Sergio came in to school to bless our beautiful Chapel. This is a lovely space in which we can celebrate Collective Worship together.

Our Church and Parish

We have very strong links with our Parish Church family led by Father Stephen who has been a regular visitor to school. We support the Parish Catechists in the Sacramental Programme for the Year 4 children who receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion. We encourage the groups from church to visit school when they can.

The children visit church at celebration points in the Liturgical year and are welcomed most warmly.

Bag to School

Bag2School is a free eco-friendly fundraising scheme that helps schools, businesses, community groups, local councils, and charities raise funds through textile recycling as well as spreading textile recycling awareness. Our latest collection is Tuesday 14th November. All of the items collected will be  exported to countries around the world creating more jobs.

Shoebox Appeal

Thank you to all of the children that brought in a shoebox on Friday 10th November. All of the shoeboxes will be dropped off at their collection points this week. Operation Christmas Child sends a message of hope to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes. It is the world’s largest children’s Christmas project. Often a shoe box full of gifts is the only present these children will receive at Christmas. Thank you for all of your support. So many children will be incredibly happy opening their boxes of gifts this year.

Archdiocese Christmas Card Competition

Thank you to the children who took part in the Archdiocese Christmas Card competition. They all produced lovely designs and we are waiting patiently to find out if any of the children have been shortlisted! Well done everyone!

Harvest

Last year we collected lots of food during Harvest. We delivered all of the donations to the Seel Street Sisters of the Missionaries. The Seel Street Sisters of the Missionaries help to feed the homeless in Liverpool. This year we would welcome any tin donations so that we can do the same again. Please could any tins be brought into school by Friday 24th November.
