For the Year 2018-2019, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Primary School achieved 96.5% of all Year 6 pupils able to swim 25 metres or further using a range of strokes. We used some of our Sports Premium Funding to pay for top up lessons in the Summer Term which proved very successful. We feel that the 3.5% of children who didn't achieve their 25 metres had valid reasons, but all children who took part in swimming lessons made progress and gained confidence. The figures for 2019-2020 will be reported on this page in Summer 2020 when all children have completed their swimming lessons.
